The company operates in regions such as Uganda, South Africa, and Zambia, delivering impactful projects like household device distribution, carbon credit issuance, and sustainable farming management. We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on sales prospecting, strategic engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and strengthen brand partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify, engage, and close community and institutional brand relationships.
  • Develop new sales materials and strategies in collaboration with Product Architects and Sales teams, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Create exclusive sales engagement strategies, including personalized and regional initiatives to foster strong client relationships.
  • Manage third-party partnerships with payment consultants, associations, and processing partners to drive engagement and brand adoption.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling prospecting content and support key sales projects, such as building digital sales experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or roles within payment networks, processors, community banks, or payment consultants.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and a strong drive to exceed sales targets.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and the ability to design tailored solutions based on customer needs.
  • Comfortable with technology trends, able to communicate complex concepts clearly, and stay informed about relevant industry developments.
