The Content Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Xapo Bank’s content strategy, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. This remote position is responsible for enhancing brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through impactful, multi-format content, while leading SEO efforts and overseeing the content team. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and staying ahead of industry trends, especially within the crypto sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives and brand positioning.
Lead SEO initiatives to drive organic search rankings, working closely with web developers and digital teams.
Manage content production across blogs, white papers, videos, and social media, ensuring consistency, quality, and optimization.
Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely scheduling, production, and publication of content.
Analyze content marketing and SEO data to continuously refine strategies and maximize ROI.
Own content and design for Xapo Bank’s website.
Collaborate with product, PR, and marketing teams to leverage content across channels.
Lead, expand, and mentor the content marketing team to develop talent and skills.
Foster relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and partners to amplify content reach.
Stay current with industry and competitor trends to ensure content remains innovative and competitive.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in content marketing and SEO, with a successful track record in organic search and engagement.
Expertise in content management systems and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Search Console).
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills tailored to target audiences.
Experience in video content creation, production, and editing is highly beneficial.
Background in the crypto industry is required.
Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace and reliable, high-speed internet.
Alignment with Xapo’s values and leadership principles.
