As a Renewals Manager at Degreed, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue retention and expansion by owning and scaling our global renewals strategy. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position where you'll design and implement efficient workflows, lead contract negotiations with enterprise clients, and collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Operations. Your contributions will be vital in reducing churn, unlocking growth opportunities, and delivering measurable value throughout the client lifecycle in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end renewals process for global enterprise accounts, partnering with Sales and Customer Success to drive positive outcomes.
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient renewals and upsell processes, aligning stakeholders and optimizing workflows.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with customer procurement teams, collaborating closely with Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations.
  • Forecast renewal revenue accurately, track pipeline health, identify risks, and report on outcomes to leadership.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex, high-value renewals and guide cross-functional negotiations.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Support renewal activities across global time zones to meet critical deadlines and contract milestones.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing complex contract renewals in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally with enterprise clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate procurement processes and handle objections effectively.
  • Deep understanding of commercial terms, pricing models, and contract structures to support revenue retention.
  • Ability to design and scale efficient, repeatable renewals processes for global operations.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance teams.
  • Solid forecasting skills with a data-driven approach to renewal risk and revenue projections.
  • Willingness to work across global time zones and manage urgent negotiations or escalations as needed.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new processes from the ground up in a growth-focused setting.
