International Tax Senior Manager

DoorDash, a leader in technology-driven logistics and food delivery, is seeking a Senior Manager, International Tax. In this pivotal role, you will manage US international tax processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements. You will have a direct impact on the company's global tax strategy, compliance, and reporting while supporting innovation and growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute US international tax calculations including GILTI, BEAT, Pillar 2, Sec. 987, DCL, and foreign tax credits.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of foreign income tax returns.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting, finance, and business teams to gather and analyze information.
• Manage relationships with external advisors and auditors.
• Prepare and present tax reports to senior leadership, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance tax documentation and compliance processes.
• Develop and implement tax process improvements using technology.
• Stay current on tax legislation, industry trends, and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
• Support tax controversy and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally including Big 4 and large public company backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of income tax provision (ASC 740).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
• Meticulous, analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• BA/BS in Accountancy or related field required; CPA and/or MS in Tax preferred.
• Proficient with MS Excel, tax and accounting research tools, ERP/general ledger systems, and tax provision applications.
• Demonstrated integrity and a strong moral compass.
• Proactive, resourceful, and results-driven approach.
