Job Overview

Develop and execute social media strategies to promote Wikimedia Foundation's mission.
Engage with diverse online audiences across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the Foundation's presence on major social networks.
Monitor trends, analytics, and audience engagement to optimize content.
Respond to community questions and feedback in a timely manner.
Support the development of multimedia assets for social sharing.
Coordinate with global team members to ensure cohesive messaging.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote, international environment.
Passion for open knowledge, diversity, and community engagement.
