Seeking a mid-level engineer to join the existing team. Client is dedicated to bringing transparency and trust back to the eCommerce space, by leveraging machine learning and other state-of-the-art technologies to filter out spurious reviews of products and vendors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating robust, scalable, highly loaded applications, maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications, identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs, and maintaining and expanding APIs.

They must have 7 years experience as a professional software engineer, 3 years experience with web scraping, data extraction, and mining, and experience with various tools such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy, and headless browsing. Experience with automated bypassing of common web barriers is a plus.
