3D CAD Operations Architect

Join Canvas as a 3D Operations R&D Specialist focused on Chief Architect and play a pivotal role in transforming customer 3D scans into CAD files, drawings, and BIM models. You'll drive innovation, process optimization, and quality assurance in our Scan To CAD service, ensuring seamless integration of advanced modeling solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee testing and analysis of new technologies and methodologies to enhance 3D modeling workflows.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and deliver research findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Implement strategies for process improvement and optimization in CAD model production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions into the operational pipeline.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in 3D modeling and LiDAR technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Architect or similar, specializing in Chief Architect.
• Expertise with Chief Architect software and associated 3D reconstruction workflows.
• Strong understanding of point cloud and textured mesh reconstruction.
• Familiarity with industry plugins and best practices for 3D reconstruction in Chief Architect.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher).
• Leadership qualities with ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities.
• Proficiency in Google suite tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Bonus: Experience with Revit, Sketchup, Archicad, software testing, 3D data models (e.g. .IFC, .RDF, JSON), Jira, Confluence, or advanced English proficiency.
