Join Bounteous as an AEM Architect in a fully remote, permanent position. Lead the development of high-availability, mission-critical digital systems, and guide a team of talented engineers to deliver scalable solutions for prominent clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and lead the development of high-performance, mission-critical systems using AEM.
  • Serve as technical lead in client meetings, effectively communicating with audiences of varying technical expertise.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions and comprehensive documentation.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including code reviews and release management.
  • Mentor senior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional AEM development experience.
  • 3+ years in AEM technical leadership and team management.
  • Expertise in architecting and launching sites with AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5.
  • Proficient in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server.
  • Experience integrating with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, and Commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of system design, high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDNs, and persistence layers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum, and unit testing best practices.
  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, bootcamp graduate, or self-taught with practical experience.
