Join Weights & Biases as an AI Engineer on the AI Growth team, focused on developing open-source integrations, building GenAI-powered tools, and engaging with the AI developer community to accelerate the adoption of Weave in India. Collaborate with global engineering, product, and research teams, while contributing strategically and technically to a fast-growing platform serving top organizations worldwide. This remote-first role offers opportunities to shape the GenAI landscape, connect with the community, and make a significant impact on the future of developer tools.

Job Overview

Lead the development and maintenance of open-source Weave integrations.
Build and showcase GenAI-powered tools for internal and external use.
Drive community engagement through events, hackathons, and online interactions in India.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, providing feedback and testing features.
Create technical content such as blog posts and code examples to highlight Weave’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute 70% of time to hands-on coding and product development.
Spend 30% of time engaging with the GenAI developer community in India.
Organize and attend GenAI-focused events, including hackathons and workshops.
Develop and support an ambassadors program to grow Weave’s reach.
Engage with developers on platforms like X, LinkedIn, and Discord.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4-7+ years of industry experience in AI or developer tools.
Demonstrated open-source contributions and GenAI application development.
Experience in pre-training/fine-tuning large language models (1b+ parameters) or multi-modal models.
Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with the ML stack and frameworks.
Experience organizing or speaking at AI community events (preferably 3+ events in the last year).
Based in India, with a passion for engaging the local GenAI ecosystem.
