Mercor is seeking experienced Financial Advisors to collaborate with a leading AI research lab in shaping advanced AI systems for real-world wealth management, retirement planning, and investment advisory services. This fully remote, part-time opportunity offers a unique chance to directly influence how AI delivers compliant, client-ready financial advice and solutions.

Job Overview

Work closely with AI and product teams to evaluate, test, and refine AI-driven financial planning tools and workflows. Your expertise will ensure that AI-generated outputs meet the highest standards for accuracy, compliance, and client relevance, helping to design next-generation digital advisory experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and audit AI-generated financial plans for accuracy, compliance, and suitability.
Calibrate investment and retirement planning models to ensure financial soundness.
Simulate and review workflows such as asset allocation, risk profiling, and retirement income planning.
Refine AI-produced reports and recommendations to align with real-world client needs.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI and product teams to improve reliability and trustworthiness of advisory systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or related roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications (CFP, CFA, CPA, ChFC) are highly valued.
In-depth knowledge of financial planning, retirement, estate, and investment strategies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Familiarity with compliance, regulatory standards, and fiduciary responsibilities in financial advising.
