Job Overview

• Serve as a technical advisor for leading automotive partners and prospects.
• Enable enterprise adoption of Ubuntu and associated technologies in automotive projects.
• Deliver presales consulting, solution demos, and project support worldwide.
• Contribute to the development of secure, reliable, and efficient software-defined vehicles.
• Work remotely with opportunities for travel and in-person team alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage clients during presales to assess requirements and present solutions.
• Collaborate with internal experts to aggregate technical knowledge and shape comprehensive solutions.
• Participate in embedded Linux project delivery, including demos and proof of concepts.
• Convey market and customer needs to stakeholders and support solution refinement.
• Act as both customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Extensive Linux expertise (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
• Strong embedded Linux experience (Yocto or RTOS).
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Excellent written and spoken English, plus local language skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in the Automotive industry.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for meetings and events.
• Results-driven, multi-tasking, and quick learner.
• Interest in customer-facing engagement and solution delivery.
