Avatar Marketplace Content Reviewer

Join the VRChat team as an Avatar Marketplace Content Reviewer and play a key role in shaping the safety and quality of our rapidly growing platform. You will be part of the Trust and Safety team, ensuring that 3D avatar assets submitted by creators and partners meet our Content Guidelines. This remote position requires a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with a passion for user safety and a strong familiarity with VRChat and 3D asset review processes.

Job Overview

• Review and evaluate 3D avatars submitted to the Avatar Marketplace for adherence to Content Guidelines.
• Support the development and evolution of review processes and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards and improve content policies.
• Ensure a safe and engaging experience for all VRChat users.

Key Responsibilities

• Review 3D avatar assets for compliance with content standards.
• Assess and respond to user feedback and reports regarding content accuracy.
• Work with other teams to refine and update Content Guidelines as needed.
• Help develop robust procedures for the avatar review process.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the program grows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in content moderation, brand/user safety, or 3D asset review.
• Independent and self-motivated work style.
• Technical proficiency and quick learning capability with new systems.
• Availability for weekly meetings in Pacific Standard Time.
• Familiarity with VRChat’s avatar creation process and Unity Editor.
• Cultural awareness of current trends and pop culture (a plus).
