The Curriculum Coordinator will provide essential guidance to teaching staff in the instruction of students with disabilities, ensuring that educational standards are met and inclusive teaching practices are implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to teaching staff on instruction for students with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement technology-based learning solutions.
  • Collaborate on IEP goals and track progress for students on the caseload.
  • Monitor graduation credits and assist with assignments, grading, and reporting.
  • Maintain student transcripts, graduation analyses, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure consistent program application.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Current PEL (LBS1) required; PEL with Curriculum & Instruction Endorsement preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of IEP writing and processes.
  • Familiarity with Think Cerca, Myon, and/or MobyMax is ideal.
  • Ability to coach and lead educational staff.
  • Strong background in Special Education including cognitive, LD, Autism, BD, ED, and OHI.
  • Knowledge of PBIS and trauma-informed programming is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
