Data Center Technician

The Data Center Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining data center hardware and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain data center hardware and systems.
• Install cabinets, equipment, and cross-connects.
• Perform remote hands and vendor maintenance tasks.
• Project install, test, and troubleshoot telecom infrastructure.
• Work with ladder racks, fiber guides, MDF/IDF, and cabling.
• Monitor security, environmental, and power systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years in similar critical facilities.
• BCSI Technician Credential preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• ACT I & ACT II certified.
• Electrical certifications a plus.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fiber media.
