TigerData is seeking a skilled Database Support Engineer to join our EMEA team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to support and optimize PostgreSQL databases for clients across Europe. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, ensuring high performance and reliability for mission-critical data systems.

Job Overview

Remote full-time role supporting TigerData's PostgreSQL solutions.
Work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve database issues.
Contribute to the performance and stability of fast-growing data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PostgreSQL environments.
Monitor, optimize, and maintain database performance and reliability.
Assist in migrations, upgrades, and backups for client databases.
Document solutions and share best practices with the team.
Collaborate remotely with diverse teams across Europe.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience with PostgreSQL database administration.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix server environments.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Experience with remote collaboration tools.
Familiarity with database backup, restore, and migration processes.
Understanding of performance tuning and monitoring tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
