As the central orchestrator for all 2D and 3D content production, you will drive high-impact initiatives across premium marketplace assets, platform resources, and marketing materials. This senior-level, remote position is ideal for a highly creative leader with deep production expertise, outstanding taste, and a robust network in the interactive content space.

Job Overview

Lead the creation and execution of premium 2D and 3D content for the VRChat platform.
Manage all production phases, from intake and planning to delivery and archiving.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external studios to ensure strategic alignment and high quality.
Own annual content budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum business impact.
Maintain VRChat's creative standards, brand consistency, and authentic user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assess content needs across product, marketing, community, and marketplace teams.
Define optimal production paths (in-house vs. external) based on project goals and capacity.
Develop creative briefs, scopes of work, and delivery plans for diverse content initiatives.
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external studios, agencies, and creators.
Oversee production logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, reviews, approvals, and asset management.
Establish strong feedback loops and promote best practices in asset pipeline management.
Ensure all content meets VRChat’s high bar for quality, brand voice, and strategic objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

7+ years of experience in content production, preferably in gaming or interactive media.
Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects from concept to delivery.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Robust network of studios and content producers across budgets and formats.
Strong creative intuition, judgment, and portfolio of high-quality work.
Comfortable with complex content arrangements, IP licensing, and branded integrations.
Deep understanding of internet-native culture and creator communities.
Knowledge of or interest in the VRChat ecosystem and UGC platforms.
Content portfolio required upon application.
Bonus: Experience with VR, 3D animation pipelines, machinima workflows, or community-led storytelling.
