Job Overview

Lead global market expansion initiatives for Kraken, a crypto industry leader.
Operate independently in a remote, cross-functional environment spanning 70+ countries.
Drive commercial strategy and operational effectiveness worldwide.
Foster alignment across legal, finance, compliance, and marketing teams.
Champion Kraken’s values of financial freedom, inclusion, and industry innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cross-functional programs from opportunity development to revenue realization.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance to secure necessary licenses and regulatory approvals.
Develop and implement best practices in license acquisition and project management.
Build business plans, financial models, and operational flows for new markets and products.
Identify and resolve inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks in global expansion processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in consulting, financial services, strategy, or ops management.
Strong understanding of crypto and blockchain business models.
Experience balancing regulatory requirements with business goals.
Proven track record in business process management and international scaling.
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; SQL proficiency preferred.
Excellent communication and project management abilities, adaptable to global time zones.
Experience obtaining financial services licenses and working with regulators.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or business process management concepts.
Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and flexible team player.
MBA preferred; familiarity with G-Suite and crypto education a plus.
