IAM Engineer – Rackspace India

Join Rackspace Technology as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer and play a vital role in safeguarding our enterprise security. As part of the Global Enterprise Security team, you'll support and manage multi-domain directory services, modernize identity systems, and enforce best-in-class security policies. This remote opportunity is open to candidates residing in India, providing the chance to contribute to a global leader in multicloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and associated directory services.
• Design, implement, and review conditional access policies, including Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Automate identity tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Support federation of internal and third-party applications with SAML, OAuth, and OIDC for SSO.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to enforce security policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot IAM issues and support infrastructure upgrades, including ADFS and Azure AD Connect.
• Contribute to user lifecycle processes, leveraging tools like SailPoint and ServiceNow for onboarding and access reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in identity and access management or a related discipline.
• Expertise in Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), AD Connect, and Active Directory.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience with Microsoft Graph API.
• Experience in managing ADFS, DNS, and supporting both physical and virtual Windows infrastructure.
• Knowledge of federating applications/services and configuring SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
• Familiarity with compliance, audit, and vulnerability management processes.
• Experience with log management tools (e.g., Splunk) and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within global teams.
• Up-to-date awareness of IAM trends, technologies, and security best practices.
