Industrialization Engineer, Power Conversion

Job Overview

As an Industrialization Engineer specializing in Power Conversion, you will lead the PPAP and APQP processes for electrical assemblies to ensure scalable launches. Your role involves overseeing all aspects of industrialization from early DFM to end-of-life, coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve high-impact CAPA at supplier sites, defining methods for new supplier programs, and supervising resources to meet OEE targets. You will also mentor domestic and international CMs, uphold industrialization timelines, and travel up to 20% for site audits and process verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPAP and APQP processes for electrical assemblies
• Manage cradle-to-grave industrialization from early DFM to end-of-life
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve high-impact CAPA at supplier sites
• Define methods for new supplier programs and supervise resources to meet OEE targets
• Mentor domestic and international CMs and uphold industrialization timelines

Requirements & Qualifications

• 7-10+ years experience in new product development and power conversion manufacturing
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• Deep PPAP and SCAR experience in managing supplier quality systems
• Experience in building BOMs and drawing packages for cost and scale
• Experience in high-voltage/high-power equipment build, test, and commissioning
