This remote role focuses on connecting with small and medium business clients, delivering value-driven offerings in sustainability, recycling, and renewable energy. Ideal candidates live within 50 miles of the Phoenix business unit and thrive in a results-driven environment while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through cold calling, lead generation, and referrals.
  • Conduct research to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Present WM's services using a consultative, value-based approach.
  • Negotiate, close sales, and manage post-sale administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws and WM sales processes.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and handle objections professionally.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant sales experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to adapt sales techniques.
  • Understanding of privacy compliance and data handling best practices.
  • Ability to research, plan, and execute sales strategies independently.
