IT Systems Engineer - Linux/Platform Operations

Manage Linux server environments across physical, virtual, and cloud infra. Administer Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence (upgrades, config, users). Primary point of contact for Development teams needing infra and platform support. Manage disk provisioning and storage in Linux environments. Own patch deployment and management for Linux systems. Monitor system health, performance, and security; troubleshoot issues. 6+ years Linux system administration. Experience with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar. Experience administering Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence. Scripting in Bash or Python. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (CMMC, SOC2, ISO 27001).
