Hotwire Communications Ltd is seeking a Junior Project Manager – Financial Operations to support our financial and cross-functional project initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist the Senior Project Manager with project planning, execution, and operational stabilization, ensuring financial processes are consistent, efficient, and aligned across departments. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while also supporting ongoing business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to collect data and update project timelines.
Implement governance frameworks to stabilize and enhance financial and operational processes.
Support the creation and maintenance of detailed project schedules, documentation, and reporting.
Perform basic data analysis for performance tracking and prepare project updates for stakeholders and leadership.
Participate in risk tracking, resolution activities, and process improvement initiatives.
Provide administrative support, including invoice tracking and reconciliation.
Maintain version control and organization of shared project resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in project coordination or support roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or JIRA is a plus.
Experience with financial operations, including invoice processing and budget reconciliation, preferred.
Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or experience with platforms such as Office Track, Amdocs, Site Tracker, or Exflow is advantageous.
Proactive and eager to learn, with a focus on process improvement.
Experience working in cross-functional or matrixed environments is a plus.
