Machine Learning Engineer Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines for clinical and imaging data.
• Build, train, and test machine learning models to optimize oncology workflows.
• Support FDA submissions through comprehensive documentation and rigorous testing.
• Participate in design reviews, risk and hazard analyses, and other formal processes.
• Collaborate with cloud and AI teams to troubleshoot deployed systems and enhance model performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with 3+ years experience, or Master’s with 1+ year.
• Expert programming skills in Python; experience with C#, C++, or Java is a plus.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and TensorFlow for model development.
• Hands-on experience building, training, and tuning machine learning models, especially CNNs (U-Net preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Git and experience with code repositories (Bitbucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with image processing techniques such as resampling, smoothing, and segmentation.
• Clinical programming experience with HL7 or DICOM is advantageous.
• Understanding of HIPAA and medical device regulations in software development (preferred).
