Mathematics AI Data Expert

Join Labelbox as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mathematics to support high-impact AI data initiatives in Math, STEM, Programming, and Internationalization. As part of the Alignerr Services team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data labeling workflows, ensuring data quality, and guiding contributor success for cutting-edge AI projects. This is a remote, project-based contract opportunity with flexible, hourly compensation. Work with industry leaders and contribute directly to the advancement of artificial intelligence through expertly aligned human feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement project structures and domain-specific data labeling workflows.
• Develop clear guidelines and quality assurance frameworks for contributors.
• Define ideal contributor profiles and set task acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and domain relevance.
• Lead project execution and mentor a network of AI experts delivering human feedback for AI advancement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Mathematics, STEM, Programming, or Internationalization (i18n).
• Experience designing or reviewing data workflows, educational content, or technical documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Background in data labeling, machine learning, AI, or evaluation projects.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
