Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports for approximately 30 properties, including monthly, annual, and ad hoc financial statements. Own the general ledger for assigned region and ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Present financial insights and reports to stakeholders to facilitate discussions and decisions. Review preparation of financial statements by centralized teams for compliance with management agreements. Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning. Manage and mentor junior accountants in the US and Mexico. Ensure accurate completions of reconciliations and manage timely payments with centralized/offshore teams. Seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes. Build relationships with regional teams and lead meetings focused on financial results. Provide high level of service and timely responses to property partners and internal teams. Manage cash flow and treasury functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate forecasting. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 5+ years of property-level accounting experience in hospitality, real estate, or a related industry. 1+ year managing or mentoring other team members. Proficiency in property-level hospitality accounting and cash flow forecasting. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Detail-oriented, organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. with NetSuite or similar ERP. Understanding of financial regulations, GAAP, USALI reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
