As a Staff Electronics Engineer specializing in Propulsion Controller, you will be responsible for owning the architecture of engine and generator controller boards, ensuring real-time safety and fault-tolerant operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own architecture for engine and generator controller boards from concept to flight.
  • Design low-voltage power distribution, analog conditioning, and sensor interfaces.
  • Architect and validate multi-protocol communications (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Develop fault detection, isolation, and recovery logic for fail-safe operation.
  • Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure reliability and manufacturability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience in complex electronics and control system design.
  • Proven expertise in architecting microcontroller-based control systems from concept to production.
  • Deep knowledge of low-voltage power design, analog conditioning, and PCBA design.
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant, redundant electronics for safety-critical applications.
