Job Overview

As a Salesforce Release Engineer/Admin, you will combine strategic administration with technical DevOps expertise to manage complex deployments, drive automation, and optimize business-critical systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and maintain the highest standards of performance and reliability across multiple Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate complex deployments across Development, Sandbox, UAT, and Production environments.
• Implement automated testing and deployment strategies using tools such as Salesforce DX, Copado, or Gearset.
• Configure and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and security settings to meet evolving business needs.
• Oversee sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and environment maintenance for continuous development and testing.
• Execute data imports, exports, quality maintenance, and mass updates using Data Loader and other tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations for enhanced user experience.
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and rollback procedures for critical Salesforce data and metadata.
• Partner with development teams to enable smooth deployment of Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components.
• Stay updated with Salesforce platform enhancements and drive adoption of best practices and new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-5 years of Salesforce administration experience with deep platform configuration and user management expertise.
• Hands-on release management experience using Salesforce DX, Change Sets, Copado, or Gearset.
• Strong foundation in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for Salesforce environments.
• Proficiency in data management, including imports, exports, and quality maintenance.
• Performance troubleshooting skills for resolving configuration, data, and user access challenges.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and understanding of metadata branching strategies.
• Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201/211) and/or Platform App Builder certifications preferred.
• Track record of implementing automation and process improvements in Salesforce environments.
• Process-oriented mindset with experience in impact analysis, rollback procedures, and validation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
