Senior Product Counsel - Payments

Job Overview

Drive product strategy and innovation for Column’s payments portfolio. Own regulatory architecture for payments products (Reg E, NACHA, card rules). Lead regulatory Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payments: ACH, wires, card schemes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to launch features.
• Translate API specs and funds-flow into legal risk assessments.
• Move fast with bank-grade rigor to enable rapid fintech launches.

Requirements & Qualifications

• U.S. state license; J.D. or equivalent; 7–15+ years practicing.
• Deep expertise counseling on banking infrastructure and embedded finance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking partnerships and fintech regulation.
