Mercury is seeking a talented and driven Senior Business Recruiter specializing in Risk & Compliance to join our dynamic team. This fully remote, full-time position is open to candidates based in Canada or the United States. As part of Mercury's mission to build modern banking solutions for startups, you will play a vital role in sourcing and hiring top-tier talent for our Risk and Compliance functions.

Job Overview

As a Senior Business Recruiter - Risk & Compliance, you will lead end-to-end recruitment processes for critical roles within our Risk & Compliance teams. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure Mercury attracts and hires the best professionals who align with our company values and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the full-cycle recruitment process for Risk & Compliance roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Source, engage, and assess candidates using various channels.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and deliver a seamless candidate experience.
  • Maintain compliance with hiring regulations and company policies.
  • Promote Mercury’s employer brand within the Risk & Compliance space.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience recruiting for Risk, Compliance, or Financial Services roles.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working remotely and independently.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of fintech or startup ecosystems is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality hiring standards.
  • Eligibility to work remotely in Canada or the United States.
