Software Engineer - Backend

Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services powering GoDaddy’s managed hosting provisioning infrastructure Develop and enhance RESTful APIs that integrate across multiple hosting platforms Work on distributed systems supporting over 1 million websites Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance in a high-availability environment Collaborate cross-functionally with Hosting, SRE, Customer Care, UI/UX, Security, and Architecture teams Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement 2+ years of professional software development experience Backend services or RESTful APIs experience Proficiency in Go, Python, or PHP Experience integrating technologies via API consumption and production Foundational understanding of distributed systems concepts Data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns Paid time off and health benefits Retirement savings and equity options Parental leave and family-friendly benefits Diversity and inclusion initiatives
