Software Engineer, Ground Software

Build a world-class Mission Planning & Control system in the cloud (Docker & FastAPI) Design cloud architecture, tech choices, system organization, build-vs-buy decisions Manage infrastructure for cloud apps with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS Lambda Build spacecraft-to-cloud data integration: history/telemetry with Kafka, InfluxDB, Grafana Create APIs and tooling to connect cloud with remote antenna ground stations Architect low-latency, fault-tolerant systems B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in CS or related field, or equivalent experience 4+ years as a software engineer in a team Strong Python programming for web development Experience with cloud-native development in AWS, GCP or Azure using containers Excellent communication and presentation skills Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new opportunities each week Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS GovCloud Nice-to-have: CI/CD in cloud environments Equity compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Short and long-term disability and life insurance Three weeks paid vacation Paid parental leave
