Job Overview

You will join a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and analysts to develop and deliver high-quality features that empower users to improve their financial well-being. Your role involves leading technical initiatives, mentoring peers, and influencing both technical and product decisions in a dynamic, supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver technical solutions for Cleo’s React Native application.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature development and product strategy.
Mentor and support the growth of fellow engineers within your pillar.
Utilize A/B testing, feature flags, and data analysis to enhance user experience.
Participate in product ideation, user research, design reviews, and retrospectives.
Drive improvements in code quality, architecture, and technical strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience with React or React Native in production environments.
Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and frontend architecture.
Proficiency with TypeScript and modern development tools.
Experience working within cross-functional, agile teams.
Commitment to code quality, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Passion for improving financial health and making a positive social impact.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted environments (e.g., AWS, Heroku).
Alignment with Cleo’s values and engineering principles.
