Surface Finishing Engineer

Operate and analyze surface finishing equipment performance. Lead preventative and corrective maintenance for lapping/polishing/grinding. Write SOPs and train new hires. Root-cause analysis of low-yield runs; publish reports and actions. Collaborate across teams to address production ramp challenges. Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in Lapping, Polishing or Grinding. Knowledge of Lapping/Polishing/Grinding equipment and components. Experience with surface metrology; WLI; AFM is a plus. Experience in DOE, SPC data analytics; hands-on polishing setups. Effective data communication to audiences. Fluent in English and Spanish; travel for international training 1–2 months.
