As a Structural & Thermal Analyst specializing in Turbomachinery, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses to guide component design, evaluate mechanical performance, and assess temperature distributions in high-speed systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural and thermal analyses of turbomachinery components
  • Evaluate static/dynamic mechanical performance and thermal stresses
  • Conduct fatigue, durability, and rotor-bearing analyses
  • Assess airflow, heat transfer, and temperature distributions
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical-thermal-rotor interactions
  • Collaborate with design, build, and test teams
Requirements & Qualifications
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering
  • 3–5 years of structural/thermal/turbomachinery analysis experience
  • Strong foundation in classical mechanics, stress analysis, and heat transfer
  • Hands-on experience with finite element analysis (ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalents)
  • Experience with rotor dynamics or high-speed bearing design
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
