The Account Manager role at Xapo Bank is a pivotal position within the Customer Success Team, responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) clients globally. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying and originating new leads, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout their journey with Xapo. This remote position requires frequent travel to attend regional events and meet clients in person, promoting Xapo's brand and services. The Account Manager will achieve revenue targets through both retention and acquisition, delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Originate, onboard, and maintain relationships with HNW customers globally.
Identify client needs and deliver tailored banking solutions based on risk appetite and circumstances.
Act as a regional escalation point for Customer Success Advisors and ensure consistent, high-quality support.
Attend regional events and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to strengthen relationships and generate new leads.
Monitor client portfolios, provide timely updates, and perform regular reviews to reassess risk profiles and wealth management needs.
Demonstrate expertise in Xapo products and provide product demonstrations to prospects and clients.
Achieve defined KPIs and targets related to retention, conversion, and AUM growth.
Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for customer base expansion and cross-selling opportunities.
Stay updated on industry advancements in crypto and traditional finance sectors.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
5+ years of customer-facing experience in private banking, wealth management, investment or commercial banking.
Proven exposure to and understanding of the crypto markets.
Demonstrated ability to originate leads and manage customer relationships in financial services.
Confidence in conducting face-to-face and online meetings with clients and prospects.
Track record of achieving KPIs and AUM growth targets.
Strong regional network within the financial services sector.
Solid understanding of fiat payment rails and stablecoins.
Dedicated workspace and reliable, high-speed internet connection.
Alignment with Xapo’s values and leadership principles.
