Job Overview

• Remote, part-time freelance position with flexible hours.

• Build and maintain infrastructure for safe and effective AI agent development.
• Support domain experts and researchers with practical development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain sandboxes and task environments for AI agents.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and evaluation of agent outputs.
• Create repo templates, scripts, and dev environments to streamline onboarding and workflows.
• Write CLI tools or GUIs to support expert user tasks.
• Collaborate with researchers to improve debugging and reproducibility of agent behavior.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, functional) using pytest.
• Proficient in Linux (bash, grep, sed, curl, useradd, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and writing/debugging Dockerfiles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of web backends such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Ability to set up local development environments (devcontainers, .env, Makefiles).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) and adapt to evolving technologies.
