Android App Dev

Designs and builds advanced applications for Android devices. Designs tools/subsystems to support reuse and analyses. Manages development using formal specs, data flows, CASE tools. Estimates software development costs and schedules. Reviews programs and refines to improve efficiency. Supervises software configuration management. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ship features. Works with RESTful APIs and backend services. Implements offline data synchronization and cloud storage. Unit-tests code for robustness and reliability. Works on bug fixes and improves performance. Ensures compatibility with Android 8.0+.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years Android development experience
• Published one or more Android apps in Google Play
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles and Material Design
