Associate Scientist - Soap Development

Full-time role based in Marina del Rey, CA with benefits. Identify market gaps for men’s soap aligned with brand voice. Become expert in cold process soap at lab scale. Create soap batches in R&D lab to test ingredients, design, fragrance. Research raw materials; build supplier relationships to test ingredients. Manage R&D project timelines; coordinate with Ops/Marketing/Product to scale/launch. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar science. 1-2 years of laboratory experience. Cosmetic product development experience, natural products or cold process soaps. Familiarity with GLP and GDP; FDA-regulated environment preferred. Strong interest in health and wellness.
