Lead and mentor a team of automation service engineers. Oversee equipment lifecycles: install, IQ/OQ/PQ, maintenance. Ensure compliance with CLIA/CAP, FDA, and IVD standards. Troubleshoot and support equipment; after-hours as needed. Manage projects to scale lab operations. Drive process improvements for efficiency, throughput, and robustness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor automation service engineers
  • Oversee equipment lifecycles: install, IQ/OQ/PQ, maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with standards (CLIA/CAP, FDA, IVD)
  • Troubleshoot and support equipment; after-hours if needed
  • Manage projects to scale lab operations and drive process improvements
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
  • 7+ years experience in supporting lab equipment in regulated production
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor engineering teams
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of complex lab automation (liquid handling)
  • Installation, IQ/OQ/PQ, calibration experience
  • IT networking knowledge to support equipment integration
