PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist specializing in pediatric and adolescent urgent care and comprehensive health services. The therapist will be responsible for providing counseling, therapy, and psychosocial assessments for children and young adults. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure successful treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform psychosocial assessments based on evidence-based practices
Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities
Maintain professional development as required
Complete necessary documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
Work closely with patients, families, and teams to overcome treatment obstacles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
Relevant therapist license in the practicing state (LMSW- NY)
Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
