In this critical role, you will manage case billing, coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and clients, and ensure the accurate handling of sensitive financial data. Job Overview

As a Bill Coordination Case Manager, you will oversee all aspects of case billing and management for assigned clients. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and attorneys, ensuring all case and billing details are accurate, current, and handled with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily via phone and email with hospitals, insurance providers, specialists, and collection agencies to retrieve and verify client billing information.
  • Gather, review, and confirm all medical bills, outstanding balances, due dates, and payor sources (PIP, health insurance, workers' comp).
  • Coordinate PIP and MedPay claims, including application processing, claim setup, and check distribution.
  • Maintain meticulous case records and manage all aspects of billing and balance coordination in case management software.
  • Draft legal correspondence, demand packages, and settlement communications.
  • Provide timely updates to attorneys and paralegals to ensure proper allocation of settlement funds.
  • Monitor and meet all payment deadlines, following up persistently to obtain required information from third parties.
  • Support client communication and treatment check-ins throughout the case lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in billing coordination, phone representation, or case management in a contingency law firm environment.
  • Fluent, natural proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases with financial accuracy.
  • Demonstrated discretion and integrity in handling confidential client and financial data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be assertive and persistent when needed.
  • Comfortable spending significant time on the phone and managing high volumes of external communications.
  • Proficiency with case management software and maintaining detailed records.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and poise in all interactions.
  • Reliable access to two forms of power and internet connectivity.
  • Team player with humility, drive, and excellent interpersonal skills.
