Brand Creative Designer Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts and visual designs for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Evolve and contribute to brand and marketing design systems, templates, and style guides.
• Collaborate with marketing, business, engineering, and product teams to deliver consistent brand experiences.
• Manage projects and oversee work with external creative contractors.
• Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and visual formats to align stakeholders and drive projects forward.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in brand and marketing creative design for consumer brands or products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand and web design work with attention to detail.
• Proactive leadership in driving design changes and challenging the status quo.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize across various stakeholders.
• Strategic problem-solving and the ability to balance creative storytelling with systems thinking.
• Experience with illustration creation or adaptation is a plus.
• Interest in Automattic products and the open-source community.
• Familiarity with remote work or enthusiasm to embrace it.
