General Motors is seeking an accomplished Head of Sales to lead Cadillac's electric vehicle (EV) market expansion in Germany. This role is pivotal in advancing GM’s vision of zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion by driving innovation and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will steer a high-performing sales team, optimize D2C operations, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across multiple locations.

Job Overview

As Head of Sales - EV, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to increase Cadillac EV market share, managing P&L for the German market, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with overall business objectives. You will represent Cadillac Germany in stakeholder interactions and ensure compliance with local regulations, all while fostering a culture of excellence and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to grow Cadillac EV market share in Germany.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities based on market insights and consumer trends.
  • Lead, manage, and inspire multi-location sales teams to deliver premium customer experiences and achieve KPIs.
  • Oversee and optimize Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operations across Germany.
  • Own the German market P&L, ensuring financial targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Represent Cadillac in stakeholder meetings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the automotive or EV sector.
  • Proven ability to drive growth in competitive, customer-centric environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-location teams.
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in translating market insights into actionable sales plans.
  • Exceptional financial and operational acumen, including P&L management and KPI delivery.
  • Experience in D2C retail models or similar customer-focused environments.
  • Passion for electric vehicles and sustainable mobility solutions.
  • Deep familiarity with the German automotive market and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
