Job Overview

As a Sr. Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing legal documents, responding to audits, investigating Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) claims, and maintaining regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions. This remote role may require travel to Lake Success, NY as needed.

Responsibilities

Review legal documents and respond to audits
Investigate Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) claims
Maintain regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
Support regulatory requirements for operations
Assist with conflict reporting and finance resolution

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years healthcare compliance experience OR
Associate degree and 5+ years healthcare experience
Extensive knowledge of Medicaid regulations
Experience with exclusion screening and background checks
Experience with internal and external audits across jurisdictions
Preferred knowledge of billing and coding
