As the Corporate IP Counsel at Okta, you will be responsible for managing the company's intellectual property assets and developing strategic IP plans. You will also provide guidance on IP risks, emerging legal trends, and translate complex IP concepts into actionable business advice.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Okta's IP assets lifecycle aligned with goals
Develop and execute offensive/defensive IP strategies
Advise on IP risks and emerging legal trends
Lead invention disclosures and patent incentive processes
Support IP transactions, licensing, and related matters

Required Skills & Qualifications

JD from accredited law school; active Bar membership
Undergraduate or graduate degree in CS, EE, or related field
USPTO Registered Patent Attorney
5+ years IP experience, including software patent prosecution
Experience with SaaS, cloud software, and IP strategy
