Job Overview

As a Crisis Management Specialist at Anthropic, you will design, develop, and maintain the crisis management program, conduct crisis exercises, act as Incident Commander during activations, deliver crisis readiness training, lead after-action reviews, collaborate with various departments, and monitor the threat environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain the crisis management program
  • Plan and facilitate crisis exercises and tabletop simulations
  • Act as Incident Commander or support during crisis activations
  • Deliver crisis readiness training for GSIS, execs, and partners
  • Lead after-action reviews and track corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Legal, People, Communications, IT Security, Facilities
  • Support business continuity and resilience analyses
  • Monitor threat environment and advise leadership on risks
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 8+ years in crisis management, emergency management, or IR
  • Experience as Incident Commander with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in EM, Risk Mgmt, Business Admin, or equivalent
  • Designed and facilitated crisis exercises at multiple levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication; exec briefings experience
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams under time pressure
  • Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; continuous improvement
  • On-call availability with flexibility for nights/weekends during crises
