Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a remote engineering team for Multipass projects.

• Engage with Canonical, the open source community, and partners.
• Participate in code and architectural reviews to ensure quality.
• Advocate for modern software development practices.
• Set and manage expectations with stakeholders and senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven leadership of collaborative engineering teams.
• Strong background in software engineering and technical leadership.
• Expertise in modern C++ and cross-platform development (macOS/Windows).
• Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (Hyper-V, VirtualBox, KVM).
• Experience in open source projects and community involvement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal technical communication skills.
