As the Director of Key Accounts at Bombas, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, financial, and operational performance of the company's largest wholesale accounts. You will lead direct selling for Sporting Goods and Mass, while also supervising the Department Store segment through a direct report. Your role will involve managing a small team with two direct reports, including an Account Executive and an Associate. Furthermore, you will own national retail relationships, leading senior-level meetings and negotiations, setting and executing channel and account strategies aligned with segmentation and goals. You will drive forecasting, demand planning, and order book management in collaboration with Planning and Operations, leveraging your 10+ years of experience in wholesale/retail, specifically within sectors like Sporting Goods, Mass, or Department Store. Your proven success in managing large national retail accounts with forecasts and high-volume programs, coupled with your demonstrated people leadership skills, will be crucial in this role. Strong financial and analytical skills are a must, encompassing P&L management, forecasting, and margins. Excellent communication and executive presence will be essential in your interactions with retailers and senior stakeholders. Lastly, your collaborative, cross-functional approach and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments will be key competencies in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own strategic, financial, and operational performance of Bombas' largest wholesale accounts
  • Lead direct selling for Sporting Goods and Mass; oversee Department Store via direct report
  • Lead a small team with two direct reports (Account Exec and Associate)
  • Own national retail relationships; lead senior-level meetings and negotiations

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years in wholesale/retail with experience in sectors like Sporting Goods, Mass, or Department Store
  • Proven success managing large national retail accounts with forecasts and high-volume programs
  • Demonstrated people leadership; ability to lead through influence
  • Strong financial and analytical skills; P&L, forecasting, margins
  • Excellent communication and executive presence with retailers and senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative, cross-functional partner; able to scale in fast-paced environments
