Ecommerce Financial Controller

Job Overview

As an Ecommerce Industry Leader and Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of ecommerce clients with a focus on accuracy and quality. Your role will involve designing and maintaining revenue workflows, managing sales tax liabilities, ensuring COGS and inventory accuracy, as well as leading strategic finance discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own financial quality and reconciliation for ecommerce clients
• Design and maintain revenue workflows across channels
• Manage sales tax payable and liabilities
• Drive COGS and inventory accuracy
• Lead onboarding from systems assessment to implementation

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ecommerce accounting
• Deep experience in reconciling ecommerce platforms
• Strong working knowledge of A2X, Shopify, and marketplace channels
• Advanced spreadsheet capability
• Experience with sales tax tooling
