Job Overview

Enveritas, Inc. is seeking a General Counsel to drive impact and change for coffee and cocoa farmers globally. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice, contract review, policy guidance, strategic planning, data protection oversight, employment advice, and product counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on US and international operations
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts
• Offer policy and legal guidance across departments
• Contribute to strategic planning and program priorities
• Manage foreign subsidiary registrations
• Oversee data protection compliance
• Advise on employment matters
• Counsel on regulatory compliance for software products
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years practicing attorney in the US
• JD or LLM from accredited US law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state
• Understanding of software industry, IP law, data privacy, employment law, and corporate compliance
• Experience in global non-profits or multinational corporations
• Ability to collaborate effectively and think strategically
